Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using our services.
1. What Yebo 2 Life Does
Yebo 2 Life (Pty) Ltd (Reg: 2026/354641/07) connects patients with independent HPCSA-registered GPs for virtual medical consultations conducted via WhatsApp or phone. Yebo 2 Life facilitates the consultation and related administrative services. All clinical decisions and medical care are the responsibility of the GP conducting your consultation.
2. Virtual Consultations
- Consultations are conducted virtually via WhatsApp or phone call
- You must provide accurate and complete medical information to your GP
- The GP will determine whether a virtual consultation is appropriate for your condition
- Consultations are not recorded without your explicit consent
- This is not an emergency service. For medical emergencies call 10177 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately
3. Prescriptions and Medication
- Prescriptions are issued at the GP's discretion only after a consultation
- No medication will be prescribed without a consultation taking place
- Prescriptions are sent to partner pharmacies for dispensing and delivery
- Delivery times depend on your location and are not guaranteed
- You must be available to receive medication and present a valid ID for Schedule 2 to 6 medicines on delivery
- Dispensed medication cannot be returned or refunded
4. Payments
All payments are made by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) to our designated bank account. Our banking details are provided on your invoice. Payment is required before or at the time of your consultation. We do not accept card payments and we do not store any banking information.
- Consultation fee: R250 payable upfront
- Pensioner / child consultation: R200
- Repeat script (at GP discretion): R150
- Follow-up within 6 days of initial consult: R100
- Follow-up after 6 days: full R250 consultation fee applies
- Medication and delivery costs are paid directly to the pharmacy or courier after the GP issues a prescription
5. Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancellation more than 2 hours before appointment — full refund
- Cancellation less than 2 hours before appointment — 50% fee charged
- No-show — 100% fee charged
- Cancellation more than 24 hours before dispensing — full refund minus R100 admin fee
- Cancellation less than 24 hours before dispensing — 50% refund
- No refund after medication has been dispensed
6. Your Responsibilities
- You agree to provide accurate and truthful information at all times
- You agree to treat GPs and staff respectfully
- Misuse, fraud or abusive conduct will result in immediate termination of your account
- You are responsible for ensuring you are in a private and appropriate setting during your consultation
7. Medical Disclaimer
Yebo 2 Life is for non-emergency medical care only. All treatments are subject to clinical assessment and issued at GP discretion per South African law. Yebo 2 Life is not responsible for clinical outcomes. All GPs practising on the platform are independently registered with the HPCSA and carry their own professional indemnity.
8. Liability
Yebo 2 Life provides a platform for booking consultations and managing administrative and document workflows. We are not liable for clinical decisions made by independent GPs, delays caused by third-party pharmacies or couriers, or unforeseen medical outcomes arising from a consultation.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
